Job Title: Supervising Associate, Finance – Growth And Innovation

Job Summary: As a Financial Analyst, you will serve as a key support resource to the business partner and advisor to key business leaders. Your role will involve critical analysis of business and operating performance, financial results, and market trends to provide actionable insights that drive informed business decisions. You will collaborate closely with the Growth & Innovation extended Finance team to enhance financial efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, focusing on financial analysis and commentary, including insights around Sales, Pipeline, and GTER.
  • Manage headcount updates, liaising effectively with the Talent Team to maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate on improving organizational structure and operational models for assigned business areas.
  • Oversee global budgeting and planning activities, summarizing financial positions and communicating issues identified.
  • Ensure compliance governance on spending and cost recognition.
  • Coordinate business templates for investment requests, ensure timely submission of requests and update on monthly spend progress and forecasts.
  • Provide regular updates to Finance and Business leadership on investment spend and communicate any issues identified.
  • Analyse and present complex financial data to support a range of business decisions in an easily understandable manner.
  • Respond to requests from Finance and Business Leadership to answer specific ad hoc performance questions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly.
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI & PowerPoint skills - ability to understand and exploit large data sets, present analysis and results through storytelling and problem solving is vital.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • A highly team-oriented approach, with flexibility regarding tasks undertaken and the ability to prioritize a number of conflicting demands to meet exact deadlines.
  • Credibility and confidence to challenge and propose better ways of doing things as well as build bridges and harmonize divergent interests and priorities.
  • Understanding of EY business model and reporting systems.
