Job Summary
A highly experienced and certified Senior Consultant SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to join Dangote SAP Delivery Center in India. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central module. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical expertise in Employee Central, guiding clients through complex HR transformations, ensuring seamless data management, and optimizing core HR processes to align with business objectives and global compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis:
Lead discovery workshops and discussions with HR business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for core HR processes within Employee Central.
Translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications for Employee Central configurations and integrations.
Advise clients on SuccessFactors Employee Central best practices, process improvements, and system capabilities, leveraging your deep product knowledge.
SuccessFactors Employee Central Solution Design & Configuration:
Design, configure, and implement comprehensive SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solutions, including:
Core HR Master Data: Foundation objects (Legal Entities, Departments, Divisions, Job Classifications, Locations, etc.), HRIS elements, personal data, employment data.
Organizational Management: Company structure, positions, jobs, cost centers.
Workflows & Business Rules: Design and configure complex workflows for various HR processes (e.g., hires, transfers, terminations, promotions) and implement robust business rules for data validation and automation.
Time Off: Absence management, time accounts, holiday calendars, work schedules.
Global Assignments & Contingent Workers: Configuration for complex global workforce scenarios.
Self-Service: Employee and Manager Self-Service (ESS/MSS) functionalities.
Security & Permissions: Configure role-based permissions (RBP), ensuring data security and compliance.
Define and configure event reasons, event derivations, and alerts.
Lead data migration strategy and execution for Employee Central, including data mapping, transformation, and loading using tools like MDF imports or data migration templates.
Integration & Reporting:
Design and configure integrations between Employee Central and other SuccessFactors modules (e.g., EC Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Performance & Goals).
Lead discussions and define integration requirements with external systems (e.g., payroll providers, time clocks, benefits providers) using Integration Center, CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), or other integration tools.
Develop and optimize reports using Ad Hoc Reports, Canvas Reports, and Report Stories (People Analytics) to meet HR reporting needs.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Develop comprehensive test plans and scenarios for Employee Central functionalities.
Lead and execute unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Manage defect resolution and ensure system quality and accuracy.
Support & Training:
Provide expert-level functional support for Employee Central, troubleshooting complex issues and providing timely resolution.
Develop training materials and conduct end-user and super-user training sessions.
Assist in post-go-live support and hypercare activities.
Project Leadership & Mentorship:
Act as a lead consultant on SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation projects, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Manage project workstreams, scope, and stakeholder expectations.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior SuccessFactors consultants, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting methodologies and internal knowledge base.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant.
Proven experience with at least 3-4 full lifecycle SuccessFactors Employee Central implementations (from blueprint to go-live and support).
Active SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification (latest version highly preferred).
Deep functional expertise in Employee Central core HR functionalities, including Foundation Objects, Generic Objects (GO), HRIS Elements, Business Rules, and Workflows.
Extensive experience with Role-Based Permissions (RBP) and security configuration.
Strong understanding of data models (MDF, SuccessFactors HXM Suite) and data migration strategies.
Proficiency in configuring Time Off.
Experience with SuccessFactors reporting tools (Ad Hoc, Canvas, Report Stories/People Analytics).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Desired Skills (Plus Points)
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or integration with third-party payroll systems.
Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for SuccessFactors integrations.
Familiarity with other SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning) and their integration with EC.
Experience in a consulting firm environment.
Familiarity with HR transformation methodologies and change management.
Global implementation experience, understanding country-specific localizations.
