- Understanding, proposing, and independently establishing internal control enhancements
- Maintaining documentation for all work products, particularly month-end closing work papers
- Performing analytical reviews and variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements
- Coordinating daily accounting activities
- Creating journal entries in the ledger
- Preparing tax returns
