  • Perform a broad range of general surgical procedures including appendectomies, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, and trauma surgeries with minimal complications.
  • Lead pre-op evaluations, intra-op decision-making, and post-op recovery oversight for surgical patients in collaboration with anesthesia and nursing teams.
  • Manage emergency surgical cases—including acute abdomen, bowel obstructions, and soft tissue infections—with rapid clinical assessment and intervention.
  • Supervise junior surgeons and surgical residents, providing mentorship, feedback, and hands-on guidance during procedures and ward rounds.
  • Adhere strictly to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and surgical checklists to ensure zero preventable errors and optimum patient outcomes.
  • Participate in hospital quality initiatives—audit surgical outcomes, analyze complication rates, and implement continuous service improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS
  • MS (General Surgery)
  • DNB (General Surgery)
  • FRCS (General Surgery)
  • LSA (Laparoscopic Surgery Accreditation)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Emergency Trauma Care Certification

Preferred

  • Experience in Robotic-Assisted Surgery
  • Membership in Association of Surgeons of India (ASI)
  • Published research in surgical journals or conference presentations
