Test Enginner-Contract

Further, You Will

• Engage in fast-paced agile development team(s) and organize, manage, execute work with minimal supervision.
• Participate with the stakeholders and team on requirements understanding, test design (test plans, test cases), planning (estimates, milestones) and execution. Detect defects early to keep the technical debt of the product to the minimal.
• Participate in functional, integration, system, performance and security testing. Build deep understand of the product and engage in troubleshooting production / staging issues.
• Participate in development of test automation for functional (User Interface, API, Database) and Non-functional (Performance, Security, Penetration, Compliance) areas to improve the accuracy and velocity of deliverable for a SaaS product.
• Provide necessary technical documentation to enable visibility and maintainability of the infrastructure.
• Play an integral role in acquiring knowledge on technology trends and best practices to keep the team’s collective knowledge up to date.
  
  
  

• 3-5 years of overall experience with Manual and Automation testing.
• Working experience with Microsoft technologies, TFS, VSTS, Microsoft Test Manager.
• Any Certification on relevant area in testing, Cloud, DevOPs is definite plus.
  
  
  

• Strong ability to understand complex application requirements, workflows and features to provide functional test design (comprehensive test plans and cases) is essential.
• Strong experience with Functional, User Interface, System, Integration and Regression testing for web applications is essential. Experience with Security, Accessibility and Compliance testing is a plus.
• Experience with E2E testing for SaaS products or applications is a plus.
• Strong experience with bug life cycle management, ability to analyze and prioritize defects.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Test Management or similar other test management systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least 1 of the following functional automation areas is relevant (Area – Technology)
• User Interface testing – Playwright or other similar tools/frameworks.
• API testing – Postman or other similar tools/frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building and managing CI-CD pipelines in Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
• Hands-on programming experience with JavaScript, Typescript and C#.Net for test automation.

• Ability to write quality wikis/articles/blogs for internal and external use. A respectable presence in technology, architecture communities, conference and online communities is desirable.
