FT RPD, as Siemens’ central research and development arm, has a critical role to play here. Under the leadership of the Chief Technology Officer and in partnership with the operating units, FT RPD develops Siemens’ technology and innovation strategy, builds and industrializes basic technologies, promotes business excellence through consulting and engineering services, and protects the company’s intellectual property. FT RPD is both a creative driver of innovative innovations and a partner to the Siemens businesses, offering them high quality research, development, and consulting services.

You’ll break new ground by:

• Develop simulation models involving complex CAD geometries.
• Perform high-fidelity CFD simulations to predict flow & thermal characteristics.
• Perform detailed results analysis and resolve potential design and convergence issues.
• Document results and communicate results to wider stakeholders.
• Independently manage project tasks and maintain project timelines.
  
  

• Masters or Ph. D in Mechanical / Chemical / Aerospace with at least 3-6 years of work experience.
• Sound knowledge in Multiphysics modeling, numerical methods and CFD.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial scale simulation problems using CFD approach.
• Hands-on experience in CFD tools. Experience with Siemens tools such as StarCCM+ will be a plus.
• Good programming skills in python / C++ or any other scientific programming languages.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
