Job Description

A Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in any organization by ensuring that the company attracts, hires, and retains top talent in a competitive marketplace. This position is responsible for devising effective recruitment strategies, developing a sustainable talent acquisition network, and working closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and carry out the recruitment process smoothly. Serving as the company’s representative to potential candidates, the Talent Acquisition Specialist must convey the company culture and values, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience. They also conduct interviews, perform assessments, and maintain records while staying current with emerging trends in regional employment laws and best practices in recruitment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies for diverse positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Source potential candidates using a variety of channels, including social media and job boards.
  • Maintain and update the candidate database and track recruitment metrics.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidate skills and fit.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, from posting job ads to offer negotiation.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and support.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs, campus recruitment, and industry events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies during recruitment.
  • Prepare and present quantitative recruitment reports to senior management.
  • Stay informed of new trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in talent acquisition or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and talent management processes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for candidate engagement.
  • Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple recruitment projects effectively.
  • Knowledge of labor legislation and best practices in hiring and talent management.
