Job Description

The Retail Sales Executive position is instrumental in driving the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Sales Executive, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through our product offerings. You will play a key role in maximizing sales by helping our customers find exactly what they need and offering them suitable recommendations to meet their requirements. The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, and has a passion for retail and sales. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adept at handling multiple tasks, and focused on achieving targets. Your ability to connect with customers and colleagues alike will contribute significantly to our store’s overall atmosphere and success.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed information on product features and benefits.
  • Guide customers through the purchase process, facilitating successful sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for repeat business.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Keep up-to-date with product developments and market trends.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized sales floor and stockroom for optimal efficiency.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and seek resolution promptly.
  • Participate in sales meetings to develop sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage inventory levels and report discrepancies to the store manager.
  • Assist in visual merchandising to create an inviting shopping environment.

Requirements

  • Proven retail sales experience or a similar customer service role required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focus.
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailed customer needs.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed.
  • Familiarity with sales technology, such as point of sale software preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is an added advantage.
