Production Supervisor - Garments (225-1017)

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Supervisor for our garment manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of garment production processes. They will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the production floor to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety protocols. The role demands excellent leadership skills, as the Production Supervisor will manage a team of workers, ensuring that daily production targets are met. Communication and problem-solving abilities are key, as you will be expected to liaise with management and other departments such as quality control and supply chain to ensure a seamless operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of garment production workers on the floor.
• Ensure production deadlines are met by effectively managing schedules and workflows.
• Monitor and assess manufacturing processes for efficiency improvements and enhanced output.
• Inspect finished garments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to maximize their potential and performance.
• Implement safety regulations and ensure all team members are compliant with protocols.
• Resolve any production issues swiftly to minimize delays and maintain productivity levels.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure machinery is operating efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and other key activities.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and rectify any garment defects.
• Prepare and present production reports and metrics to senior management regularly.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on process optimization and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in garment production.
• In-depth knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and production techniques.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to production challenges.
• Proficient in using production management software and familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
