Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, clear-written, and structured Content Writer to support our marketing team.

You’ll help craft engaging, brand-aligned written content across digital and offline channels — including

blogs, website copy, social posts, emailers, product stories, merchant stories — that informs, engages and

drives our users, merchants and brand awareness in the fintech/payments space.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Execution

• Write compelling, accurate, and on-brand content: blogs, newsletters, product descriptions, website
  
  

copy, email newsletters, social captions, short video scripts.

• Produce content for different stages of the customer journey: awareness, consideration, decision.
• Work with the design/creative team to ensure content is aligned with visuals, and ensure the tone,
  
  

style and messaging are consistent across channels.

• Ensure content is optimized for SEO-best practices: keyword research, meta titles/descriptions, on
  
  

page structuring where relevant.

• Maintain and update editorial calendar; deliver content on schedule and meet deadlines.
  
  

Research & Strategy Support

• Conduct topic research: understand target audiences, market trends, fintech/payment domain,
  
  

merchant/consumer behavior.

• Work with marketing/growth teams to brainstorm content themes and communication angles that
  
  

support campaigns (product launches, brand stories, merchant success stories).

• Identify content gaps and propose fresh content ideas, formats (long-form articles, infographics,
  
  

social snippets, video scripts).

Collaboration & Quality Assurance

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, growth, design, social media, customer service teams
  
  

to align on messaging and campaign goals.

• Review/edit content for accuracy, grammatical correctness, readability, adherence to brand voice
  
  

and style guidelines.

• Ensure all published content is free from plagiarism, original, and meets organisational standards.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years in content writing, ideally within marketing/agency/digital environment
  
  

(fintech/payments domain preferred but not mandatory).

Skills & Experience

• Excellent writing, editing, and proof-reading skills in English; strong command of grammar,
  
  

punctuation, tone.

• Familiarity with digital content formats and channels: blogs, website, social media posts, email
  
  

copy.

• Understanding of SEO-basics (keyword research, meta tags, on-page structure) and comfort with
  
  

CMS systems.

• Strong research skills: ability to learn about payment/fintech topics, translate complex ideas into
  
  

simple, engaging content.

• Good organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple content pieces
  
  

simultaneously.

• Bonus: Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console), familiarity with
  
  

fintech/payments, basic knowledge of graphic/video content creation.
