The Internal Sales Coordinator is a pivotal position within our sales department, serving as a crucial bridge between our clients and our internal sales teams. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of client relationships and driving sales processes to achieve company targets. This role requires a blend of strong communication skills, strategic planning, and excellent customer service abilities. The Internal Sales Coordinator must be adept at multitasking and function efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to ensure the smooth execution of sales strategies and client satisfaction. You will work closely with sales representatives and managers, providing support in coordinating sales activities and maintaining detailed records of client interactions. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, has a knack for building relationships, and is eager to contribute to a dynamic sales team.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with sales representatives to facilitate seamless client interactions and relationships.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records in the company's Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Support the sales team by preparing and distributing promotional materials and proposals.
  • Assist in developing sales strategies to meet organizational sales objectives and targets.
  • Evaluate sales data and generate reports for management outlining key insights and trends.
  • Execute clerical tasks such as scheduling meetings, answering phone calls, and email correspondence.
  • Assist in processing client orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of deliveries.
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints efficiently, elevating issues to management as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Track sales goals and report on quarterly performance projections to the sales manager.
  • Provide frontline support and communicate product updates and innovations to clients.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new sales personnel on internal processes and customer service strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in sales coordination or related administrative roles is necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and teams.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multi-tasking duties effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be willing to take initiative and adapt to changing sales strategies and targets.
