Civil Engineer 27N25

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, costs, and resource allocation.
• Design structures, such as bridges and buildings, to ensure they are safe and durable.
• Conduct site investigations to assess environmental impact and feasibility of projects.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Ensure all relevant permits and legal requirements are obtained before beginning construction.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and government officials throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed project reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Utilize civil engineering software to model structural components and systems effectively.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them efficiently.
• Inspect project sites regularly to ensure adherence to safety regulations and codes.
• Advise on any necessary improvements or alterations to existing infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proven track record of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
